The journey begins in Riohacha at 7:30 a.m., after each traveler has enjoyed breakfast independently. The driver will then pick up the group at the hotel to start the journey in a private 4×4 vehicle. Before departure, some general recommendations for the route will be provided.

Our first stop will be in the town of Camarones (Riohacha), where we will visit the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary. There, we will enjoy the beautiful spectacle offered by these pink birds while navigating through the mangroves on a traditional raft, a natural setting of great beauty and tranquility.

After this experience, we will continue our journey toward Cabo de la Vela. Along the way, we will stop to enjoy a typical regional lunch. We will then visit the Manaure Salt Flats, pass through Uribia, and cross the Carrizal Desert, before finally arriving at the long-awaited Cabo de la Vela.

In this magical place, we will enjoy the sea and its golden beaches, as well as admire spectacular sunsets. We will hike up El Pilón de Azúcar, where we will feel the strong winds characteristic of the area during the walk, and end the afternoon with a breathtaking sunset from the lighthouse viewpoint.

Dinner and overnight at Cabo de la Vela.

On the second day, we will visit the most iconic spots of Cabo de la Vela. We will start the morning with a delicious breakfast and then head to Pilón de Azúcar, where we will enjoy the striking contrast between the desert and the sea.

Next, we will visit Arcoíris Beach, a perfect place to take a refreshing swim in the warm waters and walk along its golden sands. At midday, we will return to the ranchería for lunch, and in the afternoon there will be free time to continue enjoying the sea. Those who wish may try kitesurfing, a popular activity in the area thanks to its strong and constant winds (activity not included).

Toward the end of the afternoon, we will travel by vehicle to the Lighthouse, a privileged viewpoint from which we will watch the sun set over the sea—one of the most memorable sights in Cabo de la Vela. We will then return to the ranchería for dinner and rest.

After breakfast in Cabo de la Vela, we set off toward Punta Gallinas, the northernmost point of Colombia. An unforgettable four-hour desert journey awaits us, crossing vast landscapes and passing the Jepirachi Wind Farm, the Bahía Portete viewpoint, and the remote Bahía Honda desert.

Our adventure leads us to one of La Guajira’s most spectacular sights: the Taroa Dunes, where golden sands roll directly into the deep blue sea. We will walk across the dunes, connect with their raw energy, and enjoy a refreshing swim in the ocean.

We then continue to Punta Gallinas, visiting Bahía Hondita and Punta Aguja. As the day comes to an end, we will watch the sunset from the Punta Gallinas Lighthouse, the northernmost point in Colombia and South America—a truly unforgettable moment.

On the final day of the journey, we will travel from Upper La Guajira to Middle La Guajira, arriving in Mayapo, a perfect spot to enjoy secluded beaches and a traditional Caribbean lunch.

In the afternoon, we will return to Riohacha, where our driver-guide will drop you off at the location of your choice.
